Atlanta Chinese Community Center - Year of the Pig

Happy New Year!

I took Mary, Louisa, Janét, and Taylor to the Year of the Pig Celebration at the Atlanta Chinese Community Center on Feb 17, 2007. We met our friend Sandy and one of her two daughters, Alana, there.

Julia was under the weather, so she stayed home with Mom.

The fortune god.

Besides the usual throwing of candy, at one point he threw several handfuls of dimes into the crowd. Oh boy! Protect those camera lenses from flying metal!

Could it be? Is Mary getting over her fear of costumed characters?
