Starlight Movie Night at Hobgood Park

This past Friday they had a free movie in the park just up the street from us.

The movie was Ice Age (which I had never seen before) and was shown on a giant 4 story tall inflatable screen on one of the ball fields.

Various booths were scattered around with food and freebies (like the beachballs in some of the pictures).

We ran into another China family and hung out, although the volume from the music they were playing before the movie made it difficult to converse.

A roaming photographer went around the crowd about an hour before the movie started and took pictures of family groups, which were projected on the screen after it got dark.

Next month they will show E.T. and in October is Shrek 2.
